- Is the online International Payments system secure?
Yes. We use advanced levels of data encryption technology to ensure that your sensitive banking details are transmitted in a secure and confidential way. In addition, customers set up a unique username and password to logon to the system.
- Can I register multiple users with different authorisation levels?
Yes. Once you have been set up as an administrator, you will be able to register a number of users and have complete control over each individual's level of authorisation for payments. Payments which are created by a user which are above their level of authorisation will be passed to the appropriate user, or the administrator, to be authorised. You can also set up an e-mail alert to let users know when payments are due for authorisation.
- Do I need to hold a Santander Corporate Banking account to use the system?
No. If you do not hold an account with us, we can simply claim the funds we require via Direct Debit from an account you hold at another bank.
- How much does it cost?
It is free to register for our online International Payments system. Charges are raised for each electronic transfer or draft payment you make.
- How do I sign up for the service?
Simply call International Banking Services on 0800 015 4116 One of our advisors will then talk you through the procedures for registration and set-up. Lines are open 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
- What payment options are available?
You will be able to send international payments either via draft or electronic bank transfer. Drafts can either be mailed directly to the beneficiary abroad or posted back to you.
- What foreign currencies do you offer?

- How will I know the amount of each payment?
For every electronic transfer and draft payment, you will receive a confirmation showing a unique reference number, the beneficiary, the exchange rate and transaction fee applied, and the amount debited to your account.
- What do I do if I need help whilst online?
There is a help function to assist you on each screen. However, if you do need to speak to an advisor for help, please contact us on 0800 015 4116.
- What do I do if my details change?
If you are a user, your administrator will be able to make any changes for you. However, if you are the administrator, you will need to contact our help desk on 0800 015 4116.
